Additional Shipping Information
Unless you instruct otherwise, your order will be shipped within three business days by way of UPS Ground. Truck-sized shipments will be shipped within seven days on the common carrier of your choice. Such shipments are all FOB publisher's shipping point. Unless you provide us with collect routing instructions including your shipping account number, we will prepay your freight charges and add them to your invoice. We will bill you for motor freight charges separately.

Bayou Publishing offers our resale customers the option of buying books on a returnable basis. In order to return books you’ve purchased, you must establish an account with BP that allows returns. If your account allows returns, you do not need permission to return BP products.
Requirements: All books must be in print, unmarked and in new, saleable condition. Damaged or shelf worn books will not be accepted. No credit will be given for books received damaged. Examples of damaged books include: bent corner or spine; bent, crumpled or dirty pages; ink marks and cut marks; glue residue; store specific stickers, price stickers and security devices; water damage; and other extreme damage.
All returns must be packed in cartons weighing less than 50 pounds.
Books should be packed horizontally in the box, with sufficient packing material to lessen the chance of damage in return.
All returns must be received within 15 months after the date of purchase
The invoice number on which the books were billed must be provided with the return. Important: If the invoice number from the original purchase is not provided, credit will be issued at the lowest purchase price
Authorization: Prior authorization is not required
Freight Charges: Freight charges for returning product are the customer’s responsibility. Freight collect shipments will be refused. For your protection, we highly recommend using a traceable shipping method such as UPS or Fed Ex Ground. RLPG is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Products in salable condition are eligible for return after ninety days and up to one year from the date of invoice.
Items returned to BP that are not eligible for return will not receive credit. We will not return ineligible merchandise unless you request a UPS call tag within thirty days of receiving our written notice of unacceptable returns. Videos, audiotapes, and CDs are eligible for return only if the original shrink-wrap is unbroken.
We credit returns against future purchases only. We do not issue cash returns.
Out-of-Print and Discontinued Items
Out of print publications are eligible for return for 180 days after the title is declared out of print. Click here for a current list of out-of-print publications. Claims for Damaged Books:
Claims for defective or damaged product, shortages, non-receipt, and mis-shipments received from the publisher must be received within 60 days of invoice date.

Items returned in error (e.g. out of print, not our publication) will not receive credit and will be returned at the customer’s
