The Dance of the Weathervane

Lineage Dance of Los Angeles returned to Houston for two performances only, to benefit The Weathervane Foundation. Sponsored by the Houston Family Arts Center, the event was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Northwest, 7979 Willow Chase Blvd., Houston, Texas. Saturday evening, June 23, included a formal dinner show, and Sunday, June 24 an afternoon dessert performance.

The contemporary dance group Lineage Dance was created by choreographer Hilary Thomas of Pasadena, California, to raise money for organizations nation-wide, and to help make the arts accessible to audiences of all demographics and socioeconomic backgrounds. Lineage , known for its original, highly athletic interpretations, has earned a reputation for consistently presenting colorful, spell-binding performances that appeal to all ages. You don't need to understand modern dance to fall in love with Lineage Dance! For more information, visit
