12th Annual Signatures Author Series

The John Cooper School’s Signatures Author Series is honoring Dr. Roger Leslie as one of the features authors at the 12th Annual Signatures Author Series on Friday, December 2. The much-anticipated Signatures luncheon event, held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, also features visiting authors, book signings, a VIP reception and an auction of an item signed by the author.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth during this year's annual NASW Conference 2016 to learn more about Bayou Publishing and our products. This year's conference was hosted at Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas and was executed perfectly thanks to the staff and student helpers. 25 ways to stay upbeat



 

The presenters, authors of a new book on helping men get over divorce and on to a better life, will discuss the unique ways men experience the divorce process. The workshop will address how men can effectively re-enter the dating world, ways for men to reduce harm to their children through and after divorce, the nature of men's sexuality post-divorce, and the choices men must make to develop successful new relationships. The workshop will offer practical hints to psychologists who work with men seeking to put their lives back together after a marriage ends. Additionally, the audience and the presenters will dialogue about the different needs and experiences of men and women who go through divorce and how psychologists can best meet those needs. Attention will be apid to the theoretical and research findings about men, masculinity, and gender issues and their relevance to helping men deal with divorce.
